Brand Building
Background:
The client is a vineyard located in the Santa Maria Valley Appellation of central California which grows some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the new world, or any other world, for that matter.
Situation:
While wineries raved about the grapes, the vineyard’s name itself was virtually unknown and as such, did not add value to the grapes.
Action:
Balzac coordinated a series of media programs, including a sampling of wines made by many different producers from the vineyard’s fruit, high visibility auction lots, special events, and feature articles.
Results:
The vineyard’s grapes are now carefully allocated and continue to gain in both prestige and price. Their name, once only known to winemakers, is now recognized by the readers of every major wine publication as one of the top producers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the world.
